DEPROTECH
The shortest route between an engineer’s CAD file and a finished part shouldn’t cross three continents. We helped deprotech brand the platform that proves it doesn’t have to.
European manufacturers have been outsourcing parts across oceans, absorbing weeks of delay, emissions, and supply chain risk, because the alternative felt harder. deprotech flips that logic. BoldHuman studio helped build a brand and platform around one radical premise: that buying locally should be the easiest option, not the hardest. The result is a digital workflow where a single CAD upload replaces months of manual sourcing. This was a market entry, and it needed to earn trust immediately.

deprotech’s CEO, Ondrej, brought 12 years of engineering experience and a clear vision for the product. What he didn’t yet have was a way to make that vision visible. We structure our process to create this moment deliberately: the early phase is rational, narrowing options, testing structures, building trust.

Then we introduce color and visual direction, and that’s where founders stop reviewing and start owning. Ondrej went from evaluating a brand being made for him to actively shaping it with us, bringing ideas, pushing directions, seeing the whole system before it existed. We believe that’s the only way identity work holds: when the founder carries it forward as theirs, not ours.

The symbol interlocks the letters d and p into a single geometric mark, mirrored and rotated so the two forms share the same space. Sharp points project outward at either end, giving the mark a sense of directionality, while a single curve within each letterform softens the geometry just enough to introduce movement. The overall effect is two sides of a transaction, engineer and supplier, fused into one system.
The wordmark is set in Nikkei Pacific by Pangram Pangram, a typeface defined by squared curves and brutalist confidence. Originally designed as a tribute to intercontinental crossings, it carries an inherent weight of distance and movement. For deprotech, that tension is intentional: typography shaped by the reality of global journeys, serving a brand that exists to make them unnecessary.

A neon blue palette anchors the system in digital clarity while deliberately breaking from the grey-and-navy defaults of B2B manufacturing. Paired with Inter for UI and communications, every element reinforces one idea: complex sourcing, made visually and operationally simple.

Before the identity existed, deprotech’s team was guessing, adapting tone and visuals per channel, per asset, without a unifying baseline. Now the brand guidelines are a daily reference point. The system was designed to scale with coherence. As deprotech grows its supplier network and expands across EU markets, the identity doesn’t need to be reinvented. It needs to be applied. That’s the difference between a brand that launches well and a brand that compounds.

“Since you delivered the design guidelines, every day there is a sentence: check the guidelines from BoldHuman. We don’t have to guess and try and then redo it. We just match the colors, match the paddings and card sizes, and move forward.“
